Is Kardpal free?
Yes. You can keep up to 20 cards for free, forever. Premium unlocks unlimited cards, family groups, sharing, nearby stores and card photos with a one-time payment of €1.99, no subscription.
Do I need to sign up?
No. You can use Kardpal right away without an account: your cards stay on your phone. A free account is only needed to sync your cards across devices or keep them when you change phone.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Cards are stored on your device, so they open with no connection. Internet is only needed to sync and to share.
Can tills scan the code from my phone?
Almost always: Kardpal shows the code large on a white background and keeps the screen on. If a scanner struggles, turn the brightness up. Some old laser scanners can't read screens: the cashier can then type the number shown under the code.
Do I download it from an app store?
No. Kardpal is a web app: it opens in the browser on Android, iPhone and computers. You can add it to your Home screen from the browser menu (on iPhone: Share → Add to Home Screen) and it behaves like a normal app.
Which codes are supported?
The formats loyalty cards use most: EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC, Code 128, Code 39, ITF, QR code, Data Matrix, Aztec and PDF417.
Can I share cards with my family?
Yes, with Premium. You create a family group of up to 6 people and choose which cards to share: everyone sees them in their own app, always up to date. You can also send a single card to someone by email.
Can I import cards from another app?
Yes. Kardpal imports Catima backups (CSV), CSV files with name and code, and its own JSON backups. From other apps you can add cards by scanning the code, even from a screenshot.
What happens to my data?
Without an account your cards stay only on your device. With an account they are stored on our server so they can be synced. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.
Which languages is it available in?
English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish. The language follows your phone and can be changed in Settings.
Opens in your browser: no download, no sign-up. You can then add it to your Home screen.
