What has changed in Kardpal, newest first. The app updates itself, there's nothing to do.
Shop maps and chain rankings
The shop pages on this site now show where each chain's shops are, region by region. There's also a ranking of the chains with the most shops, updated every month.
Chains recognised outside Italy too
Kardpal now knows the shops of several European chains, from Lidl to Kiko Milano, with data updated monthly from AllThePlaces. With Premium, the right card moves to the top abroad too.
Codes read on coloured backgrounds
When you upload a screenshot, Kardpal now finds the code even when the digital card has a coloured background, as in many shop apps.
Safer scanning
The camera only accepts a code after reading it the same way several times. So a scratched card doesn't get saved with a wrong number.
Chains and the nearby shop
When you name a card, Kardpal recognises the chain and shows its logo. With Premium the card moves to the top when you're near one of its shops.
Premium Family and eight languages
Premium Family arrives: a group of up to 6 people with the same cards and Premium included for everyone. Kardpal now also speaks German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish.
Labels, photos and shortcuts
Cards can be grouped with labels and put in the order you like. With Premium you save photos of the card. On Android, cards also open from the app icon shortcuts.
The first version
Kardpal goes live: cards saved on the phone, opening without internet, synced across devices with a free account.
Opens in your browser: no download, no sign-up. You can then add it to your Home screen.
